Quinta Feira- 7/24

9:00AM walked around el Centro or kind of like the fashion district. We saw the arches and a park where you can exercise.

11:00AM ate at Boteko do Suca, a Portuguese restaurant. We had chicken and Parmesan cheese. I no longer like cheese Lol...

We also saw the arches or Arcos da Lapa. I enjoyed walking around Lapa. 

12:30PM walked around Centro and then took the bus to Corcodova for el Cristo 

3:00PM arrived in Corcodova and then bought tickets to take a van to see the Cristo ( $R 25 or $12.50) 

3:30PM arrived at ticket booth to get tickets for Christo, another line ($R 32 or $16) 

4:00PM another van to see the Christo 

4:30Pm another line to see the Christo 

5:00PM finally see the Christo. Lots of tourists. Mostly from Brazil which was nice. Some Americans or Europeans. 

5:30PM drank so more Skol and watched the sunset

6:00PM took the bus back down and more lines and more lines. I did not enjoy this process very much. It seems kind of unorganized. 

7:00PM took bus to metro and at metro we went to the super mercado. Sam withdrew more money because it's so expensive in Brazil. We bought stuff for breakfast. Nutella in Brazil is like $6 for a small jar :(. 

9:00PM arrived back to Aldabertos 

9:30PM Skype date with Brent 

10:00PM Bar downstairs and ate some churasco with forofa. Apparently I am from Bahia because I LOVE forofa! Lol. 

11PM went back upstairs. Chatted with B.

12AM Sam and Helen had a dance party :). They danced forro and some other awesome Brazilian dances. I passed out. Lol.
